i remembered how to make glitch art

i used to be into glitch art years ago, and then i sort of forgot about it. but i've been seeing it around more lately, and i was like, can i still make it? and yeah, i can! i'm a bit rusty. i need to play around some more. but The Knowledge was still in my brain.





something about glitch art just appeals to my artistic sense so much. it makes me think of old things. too much dust on my snes cartridge, the picture on the crt not displaying correctly. trying to tune into the premium tv channels that we didn't pay for - a ghost of an image behind static and noise and digital glitching effects. it's a callback to an older time. playing a vhs tape with the tracking all messed up, as you sit there and try to tune it back into place.

also it just looks cool!
